Civil Rights Diary of James Meredith
James Meredith was born(p) in Kosciusko, Mississippi, on June 25, 1933, his passion and, love is deep- rooted in Mississippi as it was passed from his father who was the first among his family to possess a piece of land, 70 miles Northeast of Jackson, Mississippi (Cohoda 1997). When he became a teenager, he entered the Air Force, because he knew he had a purpose in life, and his purpose showed him how to fight.
