With less than two weeks to go until Election Day, the two candidates for prexy are in a virtual dead vex in the latest polls. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are two candidates who mystify believe very different viewpoints on how to revive the economy, but the bucolic remains particularly divided on who is best suitable for this challenging job.
In the first conceive between the hot seatial candidates, Obama seemed complacent and uninterested in much of what his opponent had to say. The president was seen scribbling notes and jotting down thoughts of his own while Romney spoke, failing to make eye contact most of the time. When Obama was given a misfortune for rebuttal, he failed to directly address the statements Romney made against his policies. Most surprising, however, had to be Obamas failure to mention Mitt Romneys gab on the forty-seven percent of this country.
A week forrader that first debate took place, video footage was leaked of Mitt Romney addressing his supporters at a fundraising event. Romney shared his view with the audience that forty-seven percent of the American people were not going to vote for him anyway.
He went on to elaborate that this same group primarily consisted of people who were looking for for a handout from the government (in the form of welfare and unemployment benefits) and would thereof vote for Obamas reelection; hoping for a continuation of the current benefits they enjoy.

He looked very presidential and Obama did little to invade that perception with his weak arguments. The victory seemed to energize the Republican base, as seen in the bump in the polls Romney has enjoyed in new-fashioned weeks.
