The courtly right operation was one of the most important events in the modern floor of the United States. It helped force the dismantling of legalized segregation and disenfranchise ment of African American, and served as a model for other groups mobilizing to demand dignity and rights. However, corresponding both-important events in history, it has produced scholarship that examines the impetus in a number of different ways (Brinkley, 2007).
In its historic judgment, the compulsive Court gave the civil rights movement it Ten Commandments. The Supreme Court, build up with the Brown precedent, was beginning to roll back separate but equal statutes in all areas of life according to clause in the (New York Time, 2011). The Court ordered an end to Montgomerys bus segregation in November 1956, and on the morning of celestial latitude 21, 1956, the blackeneds of Montgomery went back to the buses. They had won a battle, but the war was just beginning.
The peaceful boycott movement gathered momentum and was duplicated throughout the South.
For the next ten years, these peaceful protests led the civil rights movement until the pain dependabley slow process finally poached over in the urban racial force of the mid-1960s.
In September 1960, the governor of Arkansas, Orville Faubus, posted 270 fully armed men from the Arkansas National Guard outside Little rock and roll Central High School. Their duty was to prevent nine black children from shiping the previously all-white school. On American television and all over the world, people watched with revulsion as the children tried to enter school and were turned away by the guard. A federal district court order forced Faubus to allow the children into the school, Oh, God, theyre in the school, a man yelled (New York Times, 2011).
The civil rights movement in the 1960s especially for blacks was a heavy damage paid.
