III. SUMMARY
Rizwan Khan is a Muslim who lives with his mother, Razia, and brother, Zakir. But non like any other kid, he was special so his mother would give him more attention than his brother. Zakir got jealous of Rizwan so when he was old enough, he went to the United States. But afterwards their mothers death, Zakir took Rizwan to live with him in San Francisco.



Zakirs wife, Haseena, was the unmatchable who discovered that Rizwan was suffering from Aspergers Syndrome. Rizwan started to work for Zakir. While delivering witness products to a salon he met Mandira, who works there as a hairdresser. And soon, he fell in love with her. Rizwan and Mandira got married and moved to Banville with Mandiras son Sameer (Sam). They lived next brink to the Garrick Family. Sam was bestfriends with Reese, the son of Mark and Sarah Garrick, a friend of Mandira.
The Khan family lived peacefully until the September 11 attacks in New York City. unluckily Mark, who works as a reporter, goes to Afghanistan to cover the story, died.
