Throughout the first part of our spring semester so far, weve been headed(p) the line of work of keeping up with journal entries following a short reading assignment. These journal entries serve as a reflection of our understanding of the reading materials given. Instead of simply summarizing the essays weve read, our task is to timbre for major concepts the authors present in their constitution and prize their style of create verbally as well. We then discuss how these variations of writing may affect our view and methods of writing. I believe that the cardinal concepts of this task given to us are to assist in improving our style of writing and help broaden our views when come on other types of writing. Thesis: There were three major concepts that came to mind after evaluating the techniques and style of writing from the seven author and they let in; writing through detailed illustration, choice of topic, and audience consideration.
Personally, I break always had trouble when it came to writing. I would find myself stuck and send away not seem to find new ideas on how to write. I always thought that there was a right and defective way to approach it and while everyone was on the right road, I was falling behind. It wasnt until I have read the articles charge to us that I started looking at things differently.



Instead of writing and looking for what the author presents, I now write and look for how the author presents their work. For example, I have always considered myself a optic person; in other words, in order for me to amply understand or get a grasp of a concept, I would need to either see it for myself or have it explained to me in affluent detail. In Sabrina Rubin Erdelys essay, Binge Drinking, A Campus Killer, she provides plenty of illustrations through words or descriptions as she talked about what she saw at the college campuses she visited.
