The Goauld (pronounced [?o????u?ld] go-AH-oold; commonly shortened to /?o??u?ld/go-OOLD or /??u?ld/GOOLD) are a put on symbiotic slipstream of ancient astronauts from the American-Canadian military science manufacturing television franchise Stargate.
