Hatshepsut was the daughter of Thutmose I, who had ruled for 13 years during which he expand the frontiers of Egypt as far as the most western graphic symbol of of the Euphrates river. Hatshepsut was married off to Thutmose II, her half brother. It was a hard blow to her for she was raised as a pharaoh and wanted to fulfill her founders wishes. Thutmose II was a very weak man and in bad health. He died ternary years later, but he had a son with a concubine called Thutmose III. since Thutmose III was still a child and could not rule, Hatshepsut came into power. She got the power that were granted both to men and women. she dressed handle a Pharaoh and used their false beard too. Hatshepsut of ancient Egypt was the greatest female ruler of all time.
